Following on from previous emails, I am writing to advise that informal consultation around early proposals for the redevelopment of St George’s Barracks in Rutland is being extended, with the addition of several new information events out in local communities.
Following initial feedback received as part of the consultation, the Council and Ministry of Defence (MOD) have extended the consultation period to 15 June 2018, in order that people have longer to view and comment on the draft plans.
Plans will remain on display at Oakham Library throughout this time. The feedback section of the St George’s website will also remain open for comments and we will continue to accept printed questionnaires that are returned to us.
A further four public information sessions have also been added to the St George’s roadshow currently making its way around the county. Details for all remaining St George’s consultation events (including the four new dates) are as follows:
|Presentation and drop-in session||Edith Weston Village Hall||Wednesday 23 May 2018||6.30pm to 9.00pm|
|The Audit Hall, Empingham||Thursday 24th May 2018||6.30pm to 8.30pm|
|Victoria Hall, Oakham||Wednesday 30th May 2018||10.00am to 2.00pm|
