Local Crime Alert
Since the last Neighbourhood watch brief we have had one report of theft from a secured vehicle in Cottesmore. This happened during the hours of darkness and resulted in the loss of both number plates.
One report of theft from a garden in Great Casterton. This happened during the hours of darkness and resulted in the loss of patio furniture.
Beat Surgery at the Library, High Street, Ketton on 28th Jun between 10:00 – 11:00.
Beat Surgery and Property Marking event at the GIANT Store, Normanton on 5th July between 10:00 – 11:00.
Beat Surgery at the Co-op, North Street East, Uppingham on Saturday 16th July at 14:00.
Property Marking event at Ashwell Village Hall, Main Street on 16th July between 10:00 – 12:00.
Further to a recent post with regards to Crime Prevention Products, I now have an order in progress. I anticipate a delivery sometime next month. Rutland neighbourhood officers and Safer Rutland Partnership are offering a free property marking service for Rutland residents in an attempt to reduce local crime.
We can mark property that is usually stored outside, in sheds, garages and vans.
