As you may be aware, I completed the 110 mile ride from Rutland to Brancaster in aid of Bloodwise, I made the donations for this ride myself as I really wasn’t sure I would make it! So now I have my confidence, I got to thinking…may be I need to add some hills and raise a little more for charity by knocking on your door? So, here I am knocking on your door for a little dosh to support LOROS through completing this hilly challenge?
I’m riding the Way of the Roses cycle challenge, 170 miles sea to sea on the 1st July. Spread over 2 half days and one full day of riding some of the best hills in Yorkshire for a great charity LOROS. In addition to this, I’m spending one night in Malham where there is some of the best ale on offer and I won’t be able to drink because of the mileage the following day! To add to this, the final night will be spent in a Buddhist retreat where alcohol isn’t permitted….that in itself will be a challenge!
LOROS do great work caring for terminally ill people and supporting their families, but all of this comes at a price!
If you would like to support LOROS and this charity ride, please visit my just giving page and feel free to send this message on, every bit helps.
