Don’t forget the beach is open every day* and you’re welcome to picnic and build sand castles but please stay out of the water when the swimming area is closed.

Please read the guidelines on safety before visiting the beach.
Visitors are advised to check the signage along the beach and to be aware of the flag that is flown. See the different types of flags and warnings to look out for.
Until early summer, no lifeguard service will be operating and a Red Flag will be flown on the central flag pole and the 3 signs will have a Red panel on them. These states CAUTION No Swimming.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach or in the water.
