Be a part of the best kept secret.

We are sure you would agree that the Secret garden is a great village resource.

It is maintained by a small committee of volunteers who give up their valuable free time to organise fundraisers, cut grass, do garden tidies, fix equipment and generally make the area a place that our families and friends can all enjoy.

However with our current resources, we are struggling to maintain the facilities to a high standard.

Our task has been made more difficult recently as equipment has been purposely damaged.  This is very disappointing for all involved.  If children are attending unsupervised please ensure they are aware of appropriate behaviour.

We have lots of ideas for how we can improve the space and make it work better for the village but resource is required to make this happen.

How you can help:

• Join the grass cutting rota – rotation approx every 8 weeks
• Support our fundraisers – Race Night & Bonfire Night
• Join the committee
• General maintenance always required
• Help with the garden tidies – advertised on notice board & village email
• If you can’t give time then think about giving a donation.

We are a small village which is known for being family friendly and having a solid community spirit.

It would be great to see a show of support for the secret garden.
